Body
WHEREAS, the Sheriff’s Office has experienced shortfalls in its budget due to mobile phone expenses for 2021 being higher than anticipated; and,
WHEREAS, the level of services performed in 2021 is similar to 2020, but the cost in 2020 for mobile phones was less due to activation credits associated with the new account; and,
WHEREAS, to avoid a deficit in the account and continue uninterrupted mobile phone service, a transfer is required; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2021 General Fund be and hereby is made:
