WHEREAS, the County Counselor recommends that he be authorized to execute Addenda to existing Legal Services Agreements with a certain law firm and lawyer to provide legal services to the County in certain ongoing matters; and,
WHEREAS, the law firm and lawyer for which addenda are recommended, the services to be provided, and not to exceed amounts for services to be performed in 2021, are as follows:

Lathrop GPM, LLP Construction Design Claim $2,400.00

now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Counselor be and hereby is authorized to execute Addenda to the Legal Services Agreement with the lawyer and law firm identified in this Resolution, for a term ending December 31, 2021, at an aggregate to cost to the County not exceed $8,400.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payments, on the Addenda.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
