WHEREAS, by Resolution 20444, dated June 15, 2020, the Legislature did award twelve-month term and supply contracts for the furnishing of golf course chemicals and fertilizers for use by the Parks + Rec Department to SiteOne Landscape Supply of Cleveland, OH, Reinders, Inc., of Sussex, WI, Van Diset Supply of Olathe, KS, and Advanced Turf Solutions of Riverside, MO, under the terms and conditions of Invitation to Bid No. 10-20; and,
WHEREAS, a twelve-month option to extend was included and approved under the terms and conditions of Invitation to Bid No. 10-20, but was not stated on the RLA or in Resolution 20444; and,
WHEREAS, this error was discovered during the extension process; and,
WHEREAS, these extensions will allow the continued and uninterrupted furnishing of golf course chemicals and fertilizers; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, the contracts with SiteOne Landscape Supply, Reinders, Inc., and Advanced Turf Solutions, be extended as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and hereby is, authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the extensions; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contracts and extensions thereto.
