Title

AN ORDINANCE amending the zoning districts established pursuant to the Unified Development Code by rezoning a certain 19.50± acre tract from District AG (Agricultural) to District RE (Residential Estates) and approving the preliminary plat “Pagel Estates,” creating a six-lot residential subdivision.

ORDINANCE NO. 5528, August 9, 2021

 

 

Body

 BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "AG" (Agricultural) and “RE” (Residential Estates) Districts, so that there will be transferred from District AG to District RE a tract of land with street addresses of 7516 and 7606 S Arnett Road, Jackson County, MO, legally described as follows:

 

Lot 1A, Replat of Pagel Estates, a Subdivision of Land in Jackson County, Missouri, according to the recorded plat thereof,

And

The South 1/2 of the North 1/2 of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 16, Township 48, Range 30, in Jackson County, Missouri, except that part in Arnett Road.

 

 

Section 2. The preliminary plat “Pagel Estates,” creating a six-lot residential subdivision, is hereby approved.

 

Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Jeffrey B. and Angela D. Pagel (RZ-2021-607), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted 5 to 0 to recommend APPROVAL of this application after a public hearing on July 15, 2021, does hereby adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date: This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
