Body
WHEREAS, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office underestimated the cost of issuing concealed carry weapons (CCW) permits for 2021; and,
WHEREAS, the main component of these costs is the licensing fee for the CCW software provided by the Missouri Sheriffs’ Association; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is now necessary to place sufficient funds in the appropriate spending account to allow for the continued issuance of CCW permits for the remainder of 2021; and,
WHEREAS, this expense will be adjusted in the 2022 budget; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2021 Sheriff Revolving Fund be and hereby is made:
