Body
WHEREAS, the Family Court Division has been awarded an increase to its Gender Specialized Tracker Program grant in the amount of $52,412.00 by the Missouri Department of Public Safety for the extended period of October 1, 2018, through September 30, 2021; and,
WHEREAS, the purpose of this grant is to provide gender specific monitoring of youths showing at-risk factors; and,
WHEREAS, the grant increase does not require local matching funds; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the increased grant funds in the proper spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the undesignated fund balance of the 2020 Grant Fund:
