AN ORDINANCE vacating the platted pedestrian walkway between Lots 69 and 70, Block 21, in Tarsney Lakes, a subdivision in Jackson County.

 

 

Intro

ORDINANCE NO. 5433, October 19, 2020

 

INTODUCED BY Tony Miller, County Legislator

 

 

Body

 WHEREAS, Christine Block owns Lots 69 and 70, Block 21, Tarsney Lakes, and has requested that the platted 8-foot pedestrian walkway between Lots 69 and 70 be vacated; and,

 

WHEREAS, the walkway is not currently being utilized; and,

 

WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 24, 2020, the Plan Commission took up Mrs. Block's request and voted 7 to 0 to recommend the vacation; and,

 

WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the County that the pedestrian walkway herein described be vacated; now therefore,

 

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the platted pedestrian walkway between Lots 69 and 70, Block 21, Tarsney Lakes, be and hereby is vacated.

 

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date: This ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
