Body
WHEREAS, the Family Court Division has been awarded a grant in the amount of $235,559.00 for the Juvenile Court Diversion Program by the State of Missouri Division of Youth Services, for the period of July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2021; and,
WHEREAS, the grant funds will be used to encourage community-based services to assist in diverting youth from commitment to the Division of Youth Services; and,
WHEREAS, the grant does not require local matching funds; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary in order to place the grant funds in the proper spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the undesignated fund balance of the 2020 Grant Fund:
