Body
WHEREAS, the Show Me PACE Clean Energy District is a political subdivision whose purpose is to promote the development, production, and efficient use of clean energy and renewable energy, as well as the installation of energy efficiency improvements to publicly and privately owned real property; and,
WHEREAS, the District has requested the execution of a Cooperative Agreement that sets out the rights and obligations of each party relating to the collection and distribution of special assessments imposed by the clean energy development board; and,
WHEREAS, the execution of this Cooperative Agreement is in the best interest of the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and is hereby authorized to execute the attached Cooperative Agreement with the Show Me PACE Clean Energy District.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
