Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1. A conditional use permit (CUP) is hereby granted for a period of fifteen years to operate a concrete batch plant, as to an approximate 15.2? acre tract of land commonly known as 27700 E. US 50 Highway in Jackson County, Missouri, legally described as follows:

Description: Section 8, Township 47, Range 30, Jackson County, Missouri




Section 2. The CUP granted by this Ordinance is subject to the following conditions:

1) The site must comply with all air and water quality standards as adopted and/or amended by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources;
2) Copies of all state licenses shall be provided to the Department of Public Works - Development Division;
3) The proposed driveway and parking areas shall have a concrete surface with a minimum pavement thickness of four inches; off-street parking shall be provided at the ratio of one space per 200 square feet of office space;
4) Any major changes to the proposed site plan will require a modified site plan to be submitted and may require re-issuance of the CUP;
5) On-site advertising signs shall comply with section 240007 of the Unified Development Code; and
6) All improvements shall be completed and accepted by the Public Works Department prior to occupancy of the concrete batch plant.



Section 3. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Ozark Ready Mix (CU-2019-232), requesting the approval embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted 7 to 0 to recommend APPROVAL of this application in a public hearing on January 16, 2020, does adopt this Or...
