Body
WHEREAS, the Road and Bridge Maintenance Division of the Department of Public Works has experienced a budgetary shortfall in its account for fuel, due to several unanticipated inclement weather events; and,
WHEREAS, due to the multitude of inclement weather events at the beginning of this year lasting longer than normal, the Road and Bridge Division of the Department Public Works used more fuel than anticipated; and,
WHEREAS, in order to provide for the necessary fuel for activities anticipated through the end of the year, a transfer out of savings realized in the County's road program is needed; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2019 Special Road and Bridge Fund be and hereby is made:
