Body
WHEREAS, the Parks + Rec Department has certain display items that the Department is no longer using and has determined are obsolete; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Buckner desires to utilize this display to enhance its park patrons’ holiday experience and has requested the donation and transfer of this obsolete personal property; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the donation of this personal property to the City, pursuant to section 1137., Jackson County Code, 1984; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the display items within the Parks + Rec Department be and hereby are declared surplus, and that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to donate this surplus property to the City of Buckner, pursuant to chapter 11, Jackson County Code, 1984.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
