WHEREAS, by Resolution 20153, dated April 29, 2019, the Legislature did authorize the execution of a Legal Services Agreement with Hogan Lovells LLP of Washington, D.C. for the furnishing of legal representation related to the Rock Island Rail Corridor administrative proceeding, at a cost to the County not to exceed $112,150.00; and,

WHEREAS, the County Counselor recommends that he be authorized to execute an addendum to the Legal Services Agreement with Hogan Lovells LLP, of Washington D.C., relating to the pending Rock Island Rail Corridor administrative proceeding, at an actual additional cost to the County not to exceed $169,000.00 over the remainder at 2019; and,

WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to make available a portion of the required funds in the proper spending account; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within the 2019 General Fund:
