Body

 WHEREAS, the Interim Chief of Operations and Public Safety has recommended the adoption of a salary range for the Municipal Court Administrator position that is currently improperly classified as a G09 merit position; and,

 

WHEREAS, pursuant to article IX, section 2 of the Jackson County Charter, the Municipal Court Administrator is a position outside the merit system for which a salary range should be established in accordance with section 285 of the Jackson County Code; and,

 

WHEREAS, the recommended range is in the best interests of the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Jackson County; now therefore,

 

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, as follows:

 

Section A.  Enacting Clause.  Schedule II to Chapter 2, Jackson County, 1984, is hereby repealed, and one new schedule enacted in lieu thereof, to be known as Schedule II, to read as follows:
