WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 5248, dated August 5, 2019, the Legislature authorized the appropriation of funds from the undesignated fund balance of the 2019 Assessment Fund for the compensation of Board of Equalization hearing officers; and,
WHEREAS, the appropriated funds should have been placed in the other contractual services account for the purpose of funding this contractual compensation, rather than in the salaries account identified in Ordinance 5248; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to make this adjustment; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2019 Assessment Fund be and hereby is made:
