Body
WHEREAS, a transfer within the 2019 Anti-Crime Sales Tax Fund is necessary to provide for the conversion of one full-time position program manager position to three part-time community engagement program monitor (CEPM) positions, as recommended by the COMBAT administration; and,
WHEREAS, the staff in these positions will conduct site visits to ensure programs are following the scope of services stated in each agency's proposals for COMBAT funding; and,
WHEREAS, the CEPMs will report to the program manager to discuss the findings of the effectiveness of programs, along with participating in the COMBAT funding application process giving input on their findings regarding the agencies; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive has approved this transfer as an exception to the County's Personal Services Policy contained in section 570. of the Jackson County Code; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2019 Anti-Crime Sales Tax Fund be and hereby is made:
