Body
WHEREAS, the County's Lenel Security Systems hardware and software have a need for maintenance; and,

WHEREAS, TED Systems of Shawnee, KS, is the only authorized dealer of Lenel Security Systems products in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.1 of the Jackson County Code, the Director of the Information Technology Department and the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommend the award of a twelve-month term and supply contract for the maintenance of the County's Lenel Security Systems software, hardware and for the as needed purchase, installation, programming, and connection of new Lenel Security software, hardware, and equipment for use by the Information Technology Department to TED Systems of Shawnee, KS, as a sole source purchase; now therefore,


BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing, and that the Director be, and hereby is authorized to execute for the County any documents necessary for the accomplishment of the award; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract, to the extent that sufficient appropriations to the using spending agency are contained in the then current Jackson County budget.
