Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 19871, dated May 21, 2018, the Legislature did authorize an agreement with Ad Hoc Group Against Crime for community outreach under the SMART Prosecution Grant initiative at a cost to the County not to exceed $3,777.00; and,

WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney now recommends an extension to the Agreement with the Ad Hoc Group Against Crime, through September 30, 2019, to allow additional time to complete the program, at no additional cost to the County; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute an extension to the Agreement with Ad Hoc Group Against Crime, through September 30, 2019, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments including final payment on the Agreement and extension thereto.

Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
