Title

AN ORDINANCE renewing a conditional use permit (CUP) in District AG (Agricultural) for a period of twenty years to operate an adult group quarters (boarding home), subject to specified conditions, as to a 2.00 ± acre tract.

 

 

Intro

ORDINANCE NO. 5244, July 29, 2019

 

 

Body

 BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  A conditional use permit is hereby renewed for a period of twenty years to operate an adult group quarters (boarding home), as to an approximate 2.0 ± acre tract of land commonly known as 3001 NW Vesper Street in Jackson County, Missouri, legally described as follows:

 

Description:  Lot 1, Old Blue Springs, a subdivision in Jackson County, Missouri  

 

 

 

 

Section 2.  The conditional use permit for a period of twenty years renewed by this Ordinance is subject to the following conditions:                     

 

1)                     The adult group quarters (boarding home) is limited to fifteen assisted residents.

2)                     The applicant shall comply with all State of Missouri Department of Mental Health and Division of Aging regulations.

3)                     Upon renewal of the required state licenses, the applicant shall forward a copy to the Jackson County Public Works Development Division.

 

 

Section 3.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Doris Collier Care Home, Inc (CU-2019-231), requesting approval embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted 6 to 0 to recommend APPROVAL of this application in a public hearing on July 18, 2019, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
