RESOLUTION NO. 20183, June 17, 2019

Body
WHEREAS, the Parks + Rec Department has a need for a John Deere 5090E utility tractor with a heated enclosed cab for use during the fall and winter seasons, to replace an existing tractor that has exceeded its expected lifespan; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.4 of the Jackson County Code, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the purchase of the needed tractor from Lawn and Leisure of Lee's Summit, MO, under the terms and conditions of NJPA Contract 021815-DAC, an existing competitively bid government contract; now therefore,


BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that award be made as recommended by the Director of Finance and Purchasing and that the Director be and hereby is authorized to execute any documents necessary to the accomplishment of the award; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
