WHEREAS, the County has received a payment from USAA General Indemnity Company representing the cost of repairs to park equipment damaged as a result of a motor vehicle accident that occurred on December 31, 2018 ; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the insurance proceeds in the proper spending account so that the funds may be used repair the damaged park equipment; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2019 Park Fund be and hereby is made:
