WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney's Office has a need for additional legal services from outside legal counsel relating to collective bargaining contract negotiations at a cost to the County in 2019 not exceed $50,000.00; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Prosecuting Attorney be authorized to execute an extension to the contract with Seyferth, Blumenthal, and Harris, LLC, in a form to be approved by the Interim County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of the Department of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments including final payment, on the contract and all extensions thereto.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
