A RESOLUTION transferring $20,000.00 within the 2018 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund and awarding a contract with three twelve-month options to extend for the furnishing of auditing services for use by the COMBAT staff to BKD CPA's and Advisors of Springfield, MO, under the terms and conditions of Request for Qualifications No. 63-18, at a cost to the County in 2018 not to exceed $20,000.00 and a total cost not exceed $100,000.00.

Body
WHEREAS, the COMBAT staff has a need for independent auditing services; and,
WHEREAS, the Department of Finance and Purchasing has solicited proposals under the terms and conditions of Request for Qualifications No. 63-18 for these services; and,
WHEREAS, a total of fifteen notifications were distributed and one response was received and evaluated, from the following:

BKD, CPA's and Advisors
Springfield, MO
and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, the Department of Finance and Purchasing recommends the award of a contract with three twelve-month options to extend for the furnishing of auditing services for use by the COMBAT staff to BKD, CPA's and Advisors of Springfield, MO, for the reason that it has submitted the lowest and best bid; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2018 Anti-Drug Sales Fund be and hereby is made:
