Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4925, dated October 31, 2016, the Legislature did authorize a Sub-Agreement with the California State University, Fresno Foundation, to furnish research and statistical analysis and consultation in connection with the SMART Prosecution grant, for the period of November 7, 2016, through September 30, 2018, at a cost to the County not exceed $70,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney's Office now recommends an extension to the Sub-Agreement with the Foundation through September 30, 2019, at no additional cost to the County; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute an extension to the Sub Agreement with Fresno State University, through September 30, 2019, in a form to be approved the County Counselor.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
