Body
WHEREAS, the Rock Island Rail Corridor Authority has a need for funding for legal fees for outside legal counsel in connection with railbanking the Rock Island Corridor and with defense of an administrative proceeding pending before the U.S. Surface Transportation Board; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is needed to place the funds needed for these services in the proper spending account; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2018 Special Obligation Bonds Fund be and hereby is made:
