Body
WHEREAS, the Park Operations Division and Ranger Division within the Parks + Rec Department have experienced budget shortfalls in their accounts for overtime and seasonal salaries; and,
WHEREAS, the Parks + Rec Department also has a need to make repairs to the roadways and parking surfaces at the Kenneth Road Soccer Complex, and to the Little Blue Trace, Longview, and Lake Vista Trails, due to the excessive rainfall that occurred in September, causing major flooding; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to cover these costs; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2018 Park Fund be and hereby is made:
