Body
WHEREAS, the Parks + Rec Department has sold various surplus capital equipment items through Purple Wave auction and surplus elk and bison through Lolli Bros. Livestock Market, Inc.; and,
WHEREAS, the Parks + Rec Department desires to use the auction proceeds to purchase vehicles and equipment for use by parks operations staff; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary in order to place the auction proceeds in the proper spending accounts; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be and is hereby made:
