Body
WHEREAS, the Parks + Rec Department requires a new Jacobsen Truckster HD and core harvester for use at the Fred Arbanas Golf Course and requests the surplus and trade-in of an existing item of equipment that has exceeded its expected lifespan; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 103.4 of the Jackson County Code, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends the purchase of a Jacobsen Truckster HD and Jacobsen core harvester, from Kansas Golf and Turf of Lenexa, KS, under the terms and conditions of NJPA Contract 062117-JCS, an existing competitively bid contract; and,

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1142 of the Jackson County Code, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that a 2000 Cushman Truckster be declared surplus and used as a trade-in for the purchase of the new equipment; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2018 Park Fund be and hereby is made:
