ORDINANCE NO. 5121, July 30, 2018

Body
WHEREAS, County associates have expressed concerns regarding inadequate security at the 14th Street Garage and downtown parking lots; and,

WHEREAS, the Facilities Management Division of the Public Works Department has proposed to improve and/or install facility lighting, camera surveillance, emergency call stations, passageways, and vehicular doors at these facilities; and,

WHEREAS, existing County term and supply vendors are available to perform the proposed work; and,

WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the needed funds in the proper spending account; now therefore,

BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2018 General Fund be and hereby is made:
