WHEREAS, by Resolution 19682, dated December 28, 2017, the Legislature did authorize agreement with certain outside agencies for funding in the 2018 budget, including an award to Mount Pleasant Education and Development in the amount of $20,000.00
WHEREAS, Mount Pleasant Education and Development notified the Auditor’s Office that its program will suspend for the 2018 year, such that it will not be able to use its allocation; and,
WHEREAS, it is recommended that $20,000.00 be awarded to Mount Pleasant Education and Development be transferred to One Good Meal for the purchase of additional of food to provide hot meals to seniors and handicapped person; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute an addendum to the agreement with One Good Meal for the purchase of additional food for hot meals to seniors and handicapped, at a cost to the County not to exceed $20,000.00; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Department of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement as amended; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the portion of Resolution 19682, dated December 28, 2017, that awarded a contract to the Mount Pleasant Education and Development be and hereby is rescinded; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the following transfer be made within the 2018 Health Fund:
