A RESOLUTION transferring $125,000.00 within the 2018 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund and authorizing the County Executive to execute agreements with certain agencies funded by the County’s Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund for the 2018 fiscal year, which are engaged in anti-drug and anti-violent crime prevention activities and purposes, at an aggregate cost to the County not to exceed $125,000.00

WHEREAS, by Resolution 19682, dated December 28, 2017, the Legislature did authorize outside agency contracts with the Lee’s Summit Youth/Peer Court, MOCSA, and Westside CAN, all engaged in anti-drug and anti-crime prevention activities and purposes, at an aggregate cost to the County not to exceed $125,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, it is appropriate that the funds authorized by Resolution 19682 for these providers be transferred at this time so they can be combined with any contract sums for these agencies authorized by Resolution 19850, now pending before the Legislature, and appropriate contracts can be executed; now therefore,
BE IT RESLOVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2018 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund be and hereby is made:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Department of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreements.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
