Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 19686, dated January 8, 2018, the Legislature did authorize the execution of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with West Central Missouri Regional Lodge No. 50 of the Fraternal Order of Police to govern conditions of employment for a bargaining unit consisting of certain County associates within the Sheriff's Office; and,
WHEREAS, under this MOU, the County is required to pay a shift differential to bargaining unit members who work evening or overnight shifts, as well as an education incentive to members who achieve certain civilian education levels; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to place the funds necessary to cover these obligations in the proper spending accounts; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County that the following transfer be and hereby is made:
