Body
WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Office has been awarded the Missouri Western Interdiction and Narcotics Task Force (MoWIN) grant in the amount of $100,142.00 by the Missouri Department of Public Safety; and,
WHEREAS, this grant partially funds the vehicle allowance and salaries of two deputies assigned to the Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation are necessary in order to place the grant funds in the proper spending accounts; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2017 Grant Fund be and hereby is made:
