Title

AN ORDINANCE amending the zoning districts established pursuant to the Unified Development Code by changing a certain 5.00 ± acre tract from District AG (Agricultural) to District RR (Residential Ranchette).

ORDINANCE NO.  5033, October 9, 2017

 

 

Body

 BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

 

Section 1.  The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "AG" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District AG to District RR, a tract of land commonly known as 37405 E. Old Pink Hill Road, Oak Grove, MO, specifically described as follows:

 

Description:    A Tract of land in the Southwest Quarter of Section 20, Township 49, Range 29, Jackson County, Missouri and being more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the West Quarter Corner of said Section 20; thence with eh North line of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 20, South 86 degrees, 11 minutes, 29 seconds East, 590.41 feet to the Point of Beginning; thence leaving said Point of Beginning and said Quarter Section Line, South 01 degrees, 42 minutes, 25 seconds West, 644.10 feet; thence South 86 degrees, 11 minutes, 29 seconds East, 400.96 feet, thence North 01 degrees, 42 minutes, 25 seconds East, 544.10 feet to a point of the North line of the Southwest Quarter, said Section 20; thence with said North line North 86 degrees, 11 minutes, 29 seconds West, 400.96 feet to Point of Beginning. Expect part in road.

 

 

 

Section 2.  The Legislature, pursuant to the application of the Ronald W. Hackley (RZ-2017-554), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted 7 to 0 to recommend APPROVAL of this application after a public hearing on September 21, 2017, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Ordinance shall be effective immediately upon its signature by the County Executive.
