Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4759, dated August 3, 2015, the Legislature did authorize the acceptance of a grant in the amount of $117,516.66 from the Missouri Department of Public Safety for the Prosecuting Attorney's Office's Victim Service Program; and,
WHEREAS, the Missouri Department of Public Safety has authorized additional funds in the amount of $14,689.59 and an extension of this grant program through September 30, 2017; and,
WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney's Office recommends the transfer of $7,510.08 to complete the funding on this project; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer and appropriation are necessary in order to place the additional funds in the proper spending accounts; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends said transfer and appropriation; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfers and appropriation be and are hereby made:
