Body
WHEREAS, the Family Court Division has been awarded a grant in the amount of $292,967.00 for the Juvenile Court Diversion Program by the State of Missouri Division of Youth Services, for the period of July 1, 2017, through June 30, 2018; and,
WHEREAS, the grant funds will be used to encourage community-based services, which will assist diverting youth from commitment to the Division of Youth Services; and,
WHEREAS, the grant does not require local matching funds; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the grant funds in the proper spending accounts; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation be made from the undesignated fund balance of the 2017 Grant Fund:
