Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 19397, dated February 27, 2017, the Legislature did authorize the execution of agreements with certain outside agencies engaged in anti-drug and anti-violent crime law enforcement, treatment, and prevention activities requiring a local match to grant funds; and,

WHEREAS, additional grant match funds have been identified, and the Jackson County Drug Commission now recommends that the County Executive be authorized to execute an agreement with the Center School District for the furnishing of a behavior intervention specialist in the amount of $30,000.00, for grant match funding; now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be, and hereby is, authorized to execute an agreement with the Center School District in the amount of $30,000.00, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be, and hereby is, authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreement.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
