Body
WHEREAS, the recent retirement of Paul Arena has left a vacancy in the position of Chief Deputy Auditor; and,
WHEREAS, County Legislative Auditor Crissy Wooderson has announced the appointment of County Risk Manager Celestine Williams to this position; and,
WHEREAS, Ms. Williams is well-qualified for the position of Chief Deputy Auditor; and,
WHEREAS, Ms. Wooderson has requested the Legislature’s confirmation of this appointment pursuant to section 260.3.a of the Jackson County Code; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Legislature hereby confirms the appointment of Celestine Williams as Chief Deputy Auditor.
Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
