A RESOLUTION authorizing the County Executive to execute agreements with certain outside agencies which are engaged in anti-drug and anti-violent crime treatment activities and purposes, at an aggregate cost to the County not to exceed $155,000.00.

Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 19396, dated February 27, 2017, the Legislature did authorize the execution of agreements with certain outside agencies engaged in anti-drug and anti-violent treatment activities and purposes, at an aggregate cost to the County not to exceed $2,763,408.00; and,

WHEREAS, additional treatment funds have been identified, and the Jackson County Drug Commission now recommends that the County Executive be authorized to execute agreements with the following outside agencies in the amounts indicated, for treatment funding:
AGENCY AMOUNT
Rediscover - KC Assessment and Triage program $45,000.00
Footprints, Inc. $35,000.00
Journey to New Life $50,000.00
Plaza Academy $25,000.00
now therefore,

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be, and hereby is, authorized to execute agreements with these outside agencies in the respective amounts indicated, in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be, and hereby is, authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the agreements.


Enacted and Approved
Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
