Body
WHEREAS, by Ordinance 4945, dated December 5, 2016, the Legislature did authorize the acceptance of a grant provided by the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) to conduct a joint federal drug investigation in conjunction with the Jackson County Drug Task Force, OCDETF Case No. WC-KC-199, Operation Deja Vu, for the period of November 7, 2016, through September 30, 2017; and
WHEREAS, the OCDETF has authorized additional funding for the reimbursement of overtime related to this operation, in the amount of $7,500.00; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place the additional funds in the proper spending account; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2017 Anti-Drug Sales Tax Fund be and hereby is made:
