Body
WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Office desires to use federal forfeiture funds to purchase mobile ticketing printers and accessories from an existing term and supply contract; and,
WHEREAS, the U.S. Treasury Department has authorized the use of these funds; and,
WHEREAS, an appropriation is necessary to place funds available in the Federal Forfeiture Fund in the proper spending account; now therefore,
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following appropriation from the undesignated fund balance of the 2017 Federal Forfeiture Fund be and hereby is made:
