Body
BE IT ORDAINED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri as follows:

Section 1. The Zoning Order of Jackson County, Missouri, and the official maps which are a part thereof, are amended by changing the boundaries of the "AG" (Agricultural) District and the "RR" (Residential Ranchette) District, so that there will be transferred from District AG to District RR, a tract of land commonly known as 26005 E. Argo Road, Independence, MO, specifically described as follows:

Description: All that part of the North 20 acres of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 18, Township, 49, Range 30, Jackson County, Missouri, described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Section 18, thence due East along the North line of said Section 18, 753.54 feet, thence South 01 degrees, 02 minutes, 46 seconds East, 757.00 feet to the South line of said North 20 acres; thence South 89 degrees, 59 minutes, 39 seconds West along said South line, 753.54 feet, to the West line of said Section 18; thence North 01 degrees, 02 minutes, 49 seconds West along said West line 757.54 feet, to the point of beginning, except part in roads.




Section 2. The Legislature, pursuant to the application of Mark and Beth Carrick (RZ-2017-547), requesting the amendment embodied in this Ordinance and with notice that the Jackson County Plan Commission voted 8 to 0 to recommend APPROVAL of this application after a public hearing on March 16, 2017, does adopt this Ordinance pursuant to the Jackson County Charter authorizing the Legislature to exercise legislative power pertaining to planning and zoning.
