A RESOLUTION transferring $67,800.00 within the 2017 Park Fund and awarding a contract for replacing a boat dock for use by the Parks + Rec Department to Tiger Docks of O'Fallon, MO, under the terms and conditions of Invitation to Bid No. 9-17, at a cost to the County not to exceed $328,570.00.

Body
WHEREAS, the Parks + Rec Department has a need for a replacement boat dock at Lake Jacomo; and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited formal written bids on Invitation to Bid No. 9-17 for replacing this boat dock; and,
WHEREAS, a total of ten notifications were distributed and three responses were received and evaluated as follows:

and,
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that award be made to Tiger Docks, as the lowest and best bidder; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to place a portion of the funds required for this purchase in the proper spending account; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within the 2017 Park Fund:
