Body
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has solicited bids on Invitation to Bid No. 88-16 for the furnishing of heavy equipment maintenance, parts, and repair services for use by the Public Works Department, for the upcoming twenty-four month period, with three twelve-month options to extend; and,

WHEREAS, a total of twenty-seven notifications were distributed, with five responses received, one of which was determined to be non-responsive; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that the contracts be awarded to multiple vendors to have parts and services available for a variety of heavy equipment; and,

WHEREAS, award as recommended would result in awards to the following:
