WHEREAS, due to an administrative oversight, pension and annuity contributions for a certain County associate who is a member of the IBEW Local Union No. 124 were not timely made; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is needed to place the funds necessary to cover the costs of these pension and annuity contributions in the proper spending account; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer within the 2017 General Fund be and hereby is made:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to issue a check to IBEW Local Union No. 124, in the amount of $27,534.00, as retroactive pension and annuity payments for a certain County associate within the Union.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
