RESOLUTION NO. 19400, March 6, 2017

 

INTRODUCED BY Dennis Waits, County Legislator

 

 

Body

 WHEREAS, by Resolution 18390, dated February 3, 2014, the Legislature did award a thirty-six month term and supply contract with two twelve-month options to extend for the furnishing of high volume photocopier equipment lease services for use by the Office Services section of the Finance and Purchasing Department to All Copy/Office Business Solutions f/k/a Knighton Business Solutions of Overland Park, KS, under the terms and conditions of The State of Texas Department of Information Resources Contract No. DIR-SDD-1662, an existing government contract; and,

 

WHEREAS, All Copy/Office Business Solutions has notified the Director of Finance and Purchasing that the County will receive a twenty percent discount on the renewal term if the contract is awarded as a twenty-four month renewal, rather than the stated two twelve-month renewal periods; and,

 

WHEREAS, said discount will result in a $2,500.46 annual savings to the County; now therefore,

 

BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to execute a twenty-four month extension to the term and supply contract with All Copy/Office Business Solutions; and,

 

 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the portion of Resolution 18390, dated February 3, 2014, related to the renewal options of the contract is hereby rescinded.

 

Enacted and Approved

Effective Date:  This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
