WHEREAS, by Resolution 19043, dated January 19, 2016, the Legislature did authorize a Cooperative Agreement with Palestine Senior Citizen’s Activity Center of Kansas City, MO, for the furnishing of a senior citizens program, at a cost to the County in the amount of $90,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, it is now recommended that the Cooperative Agreement with Palestine Senior Citizen’s Activity Center be increased to provide additional services for this program, at an additional cost to the County in the amount of $25,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is needed to place the additional funds needed for this program in the proper spending account; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within the 2016 Health Fund:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the County Executive be and hereby is authorized to execute for the County an Addendum to the Cooperative Agreement with Palestine Senior Citizen’s Activity Center in a form to be approved by the County Counselor; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Finance and Purchasing be and hereby is authorized to make all payments, including final payment on the contract and addendum thereto.

Effective Date: This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon its passage by a majority of the Legislature.
