A RESOLUTION transferring $104,615.00 within the 2016 General Fund, $72,150.00 within the 2016 Special Road and Bridge Fund, and $4,386.00 within the 2016 Sheriff's Revolving Fund and authorizing the purchase of ten vehicles from the Missouri State Highway Patrol for use by the Sheriff's Office, at an actual cost to the County of $161,400.00, as an acquisition from another government.

Body
WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Office desires to purchase ten Dodge Charger police vehicles to add to its fleet of emergency vehicles; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to section 1030.2 Jackson County Code, 1984, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends this purchase as an acquisition from another government, at an actual cost to the County of $161,400.00; and,
WHEREAS, the installation of emergency equipment in these vehicles will be completed through an existing term and supply vendor; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is necessary to place available funds in the proper spending accounts for these vehicles and the required emergency equipment; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfers within the 2016 General Fund, 2016 Special Road and Bridge Fund, and 2016 Sheriff's Revolving Fund be and hereby are made:
