Body
WHEREAS, by Resolution 19046, dated January 19, 2016, the Legislature did authorize a Cooperative Agreement with Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) of Kansas City, MO, for the furnishing of emergency assistance services through a sub-contractual agreement with the Bishop Sullivan Center, at a cost to the County in the amount of $30,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, it is now recommended that the Cooperative Agreement with MARC and Bishop Sullivan Center be increased to provide additional emergency assistance services, at an additional cost to the County in the amount of $20,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, a transfer is needed to place the additional funds needed for this program in the proper spending account; and,
WHEREAS, the County Executive recommends this transfer; now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the County Legislature of Jackson County, Missouri, that the following transfer be made within the 2016 Health Fund:
