Body
WHEREAS, by Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 72-16, the Director of Finance and Purchasing did solicit proposals for the furnishing of oblique photography services for use by the Assessment and GIS Departments; and,

WHEREAS, oblique photography is a multi-camera aerial photography system that allows for creation of 3D images to enhance the perspective of structures to allow greater functionality for geographic and assessment purposes; and,

WHEREAS, the Director distributed seventeen notifications and received three responses thereon, as follows:

and,

WHEREAS, the proposals submitted were evaluated on the basis of qualifications, experience, and pricing; and,

WHEREAS, following evaluation of the proposals, the Director of Finance and Purchasing has recommended the award of a twelve-month contract with one twelve-month option to extend for these services to Sanborn Map Company, Inc., of Colorado Springs, CO; and,

WHEREAS, the Director of Finance and Purchasing recommends that the award be made pursuant to section 1054.6 of the Jackson County Code, 1984, to Sanborn, at a cost to the County for 2016 not to exceed $182,240.00, with future years' funding subject to appropriation; and,
